Donald Enters CMU Back Court

The CMU women’s basketball team is happy to announce the commitment of Linden Christian guard Darcie Donald. “Darcie is a strong-shooting, very quick guard who will compliment our outside game,” explains CMU head coach Christie Anne McCullough. At 5’3, Donald makes up for her lack of size with her quickness and tenacity. Donald was selected Most Valuable Player of her high school team in Grade 11 and has been a team captain with the Wings since Grade 10. “I am looking forward to having her attitude and love of the game encourage our already strong team-dynamics both on and off the court,” adds McCullough.

Darcie has been a multi-sport athlete while at Linden, running various distances in track and helping the Wings to the provincial high school championship tournament in soccer. She has plans to pursue a degree in Psychology or Kinesiology.
