Aiming For Seneca Cup In Toronto

The CMU men’s volleyball team travels to Toronto this weekend to compete in the Seneca Cup Challenge hosted at Seneca College in Markham. The Blazers hope to duplicate what was a very successful tournament for them last season – a top-three finish against Ontario’s top CCAA volleyball programs.

CMU begins their week with an exhibition tune-up in Mississauga (Victory Volleyball) against Conestoga College on Thursday evening at 8 PM. The Condors recently made the jump up to the OCAA in men’s volleyball and are certainly an improving program.

You can catch all the Blazers action live and streaming on Friday and Saturday from the Seneca Sting varsity athletics website. CMU meets Durham College of Oshawa at 3 PM on Friday and later faces Sheridan College at 7 PM. To complete round-robin pool-play, the Blazers challenge Niagara College at 11AM on Saturday morning. Medal-round matches are scheduled for 1PM and 3PM.
