Mazza To Guide CMU Women’s Soccer

CMU Athletics is pleased to announce the appointment of Tony Mazza to the position of head coach of the women’s soccer team beginning this spring. Mazza brings a wealth of experience at the provincial, youth and senior level and most recently served as the head coach of the Winnipeg Alliance of the Canadian Major Indoor Soccer League.

Mazza is a well-known name and face in the Manitoba soccer community. “I am fully confident with Tony coaching our women’s program and expect that our players will enjoy playing for him immensely,” stated CMU Director of Athletics, Russell Willms, “Tony’s experience and expertise place him with the top coaches in our province and his personality certainly comes through in his coaching style. He has an ability to make the game fun.”

Mazza holds a National B license in coaching and will be working this spring and summer with the Grant Mill Sword of the Manitoba Major Soccer League’s top division.
