Sask Striker Commits to CMU

IMG_6319The CMU men’s soccer team is pleased to announce the addition of Saskatchewan front-man Jaime Hamilton for the upcoming season. The 5’11 striker demonstrated his goal-scoring prowess at the u-18 indoor level in Saskatoon, scoring 37 goals in 15 games.

Hamilton was also involved at the premier youth-level in Lloydminister and competed in the Saskatchewan Summer Games in 2005. “I am very happy to have Jaime committed to our program, “says Russell Willms who will be entering his sixth season as head coach of the Blazers, “he has shown that he has a knack for finishing and we are thrilled to be adding a player who can help us in that way.”

Open tryouts for the CMU men’s soccer team will take place September 2-3, with their first conference match scheduled for September 7th at 2pm versus Providence University College at John Scouras Field at the Winnipeg Soccer Complex.
