Ready to Spread Wings with Blazers

On the heels of last weekend's Men's Basketball Identification Camp, CMU is  very happy to announce the additions of Linden Christian's Jordan Neufeld and Zachary Stubel for the 2014-15 season.

A 6'3 wing and still growing, Neufeld (right) was forced to miss the entire Grade 12 season recovering from knee-surgery but is back running and excited to be joining the Blazers next season. He averaged 10+ points per game in his Grade 11 year and head coach Billy Isaac believe that he can blossom into a dangerous perimeter threat in the MCAC. "Jordan has a good inside out game," says Isaac, "that is complemented with a good jump shot."

The Blazers also add a very capable rebounder and shot-blocker in 6'6 Stubel (left). The lanky center led the Wings to the Consolation Final of the 2014 MHSAA 'AAA' Boys Provincials two weekends ago in Swan River. In his grade 12 year, Stubel averaged 10 points and 15 rebounds en route to a Zone 12 Championship this season.

"Zach is a great shot blocker and rebounder," adds Isaac, "he brings us a really solid work ethic.
