Westgate Hitter, An Ultimate Addition To 2016 Men's Volleyball Squad

Westgate Wings Outside Hitter, Quinn Snider is the most recent recruit to sign his name to the 2016-17 Men's Volleyball roster; a team with high expectations as they enter their MCAC campaign. The athletic 6'2 attacker powered the Wings to a second-place finish in Zone 12 and on to the final of the 2015 'AAA' Boys Manitoba High School Athletics Association Provincial Championship in Swan River, earning himself a Manitoba Volleyball 2015 Graduating Allstar Selection.

"Quinn is a very good right side attacker," said head coach Don Dulder, who will be entering year three at CMU, "He provides us with great depth outside. He is a strong player who is a great blocker and comes from a strong Westgate volleyball program."

Snider is a product of Big Sand Volleyball Club where he competed from 15u to 17u and competed at the 2015 Canadian Club Nationals.

An outstanding all-around athlete, Snider is currently a member of the Canadian under-20 Ultimate Team. Playing as a cutter on the National Team, Snider is preparing to represent Canada this August at the World Ultimate Championships in Poland. Later that month, he will return to represent Manitoba in Edmonton at the Canadian National Ultimate Championships.

Snider and his CMU teammates begin their 2016 non-conference preseason schedule October 13th to 15th in Markham, Ontario will take on the best of the OCAA at the Seneca Cup Challenge.
