Kehler was intrumental in CMU's run to the 2017 Women's Volleyball Championship during the month of February. It all began on February 3rd when the Blazers were able to collect their first win against the first-place Providence Pilots after three previous regular season defeats. The win in Otterburne marked CMU's fifth consecutive wins and sparked a run of nine match victories, culminating in their Championship win on Sunday afternoon in St-Boniface.

The 5'8 middle blocker posted 8 kills and 4 stuff blocks in Saturday's 3-1 semifinal win over USB Rouges and another 8 kills in Sunday's five set championship win over Providence.

"It's been an absolute privelege getting to coach Ray," added Kampen, "she contributed some huge game-changing blocks and points for us and we would never have been able to win this championship without her."
